CVE-2013-0001 | A notepad that was never erased Imagine handing someone a used notepad with private writing still on it. In several .NET Framework versions, Windows Forms did not properly initialize memory arrays. A crafted application could use this flaw to expose sensitive information. The official record describes crafted XAML browser applications or .NET applications accessing unmanaged memory. This is information disclosure, not a claim of arbitrary code execution. The lesson: initialize memory before handing it to another part of a program.
