    False Positive

Why do companies make it so hard to report issues? The @newrelic support forum new post leads to an error. No way to contact customer support without being a paid customer. APM flagged one of my repos for CVE-2022-3874 - turns out it's confusing the  foreman  Ruby gem (a tiny Procfile runner, dev-only) with the unrelated Foreman infra server app that actually has the vuln. A name-collision false positive. 🙃

    Post summary

The post clarifies that the CVE-2022-3874 warning triggered by an APM is a false positive caused by a name collision, not an actual vulnerability.
